Several months ago I had a dream in which I saw the word “Anastasia.” Being aware Holy Spirit often spoke to me in parables, I looked up the word online.
Fem. proper name, from fem. of Late Latin Anastasius, from Greek Anastasios, from anastasis “resurrection, a raising up of the dead;” literally “a setting up, a standing or rising up,” from ana “up; again” (see ana-) + histanai “to cause to stand, to stand” (from PIE root *sta- “to stand, make or be firm”). https://www.etymonline.com/word/Anastasia
‘This Man’s [Yeshua Ha’Maschiach] destiny was prearranged, for God knew that Jesus would be handed over to you to be crucified and that you would execute him on a cross by the hands of lawless men. Yet it was all part of his predetermined plan. God destroyed the cords of death and raised him up, because it was impossible for death’s power to hold him prisoner.’
Acts 2:23-24 TPT.
Jesus the Messiah / Yeshua Ha’Maschiach is risen & alive forever!

Last week, during Passover, I created the above display in my lounge. I reflected …
- The grave is empty, the crown of thorns left behind.
- His glory radiates through the empty tomb.
- The Cup of Redemption/Blessing is replaced by the Cup of Praise/ Hope/ Kingdom/ Salvation/ Restoration.
- He now reigns in Glory, the prayers of the Saints being poured out of the Golden bowl beside the Golden lampstand.
- And we who have been cleansed by the Covenant blood of the pure Passover Lamb, are now ruling and reigning with Him in heavenly places [Ephesians 2].
‘Jesus repeated his greeting [to His disciples], “Peace to you!” And he told them, “Just as the Father has sent me, I’m now sending you.” Then, taking a deep breath, he blew* on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. I send you to preach the forgiveness of sins–and people’s sins will be forgiven. But if you don’t proclaim the forgiveness of their sins, they will remain guilty.” ‘
John 20:21-23 TPT.
The Footnote reads:
*’He blew on them.’ ‘The Greek word used here does not appear elsewhere in the New Testament, however, it is the same word found in the Septuagint for God “breathed” into Adam’s nostrils the breath of life [Gen. 2:7]. The beginning of new creation life came from the breath of Jesus. The mighty wind of Acts 2 was for power; the breath Jesus breathed into His disciples in this verse was for life.’
I need His resurrection breath! Do you?
‘Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life.
Romans 6:4-6 TPT.
For since we are permanently grafted into him to experience a death like his, then we are permanently grafted into him to experience a resurrection
like his and the new life that it imparts.
Could it be any clearer that our former identity is now and forever deprived of its power? For we were co-crucified with him to dismantle the stronghold of sin within us, so that we would not continue to live one moment longer submitted to sin’s power.’
