Refreshing Days

A small group of women, from a variety of networks, or a Christian leadership group, are invited to come aside for a day, usually 9:30am to 3:00pm. In the reflective environment, one is encouraged to take a personal journey with Yeshua, the ‘Refresher of our soul’.

Content can include:

  • Inspirational talks relating to a theme
  • Supplementary questionnaire
  • ‘Soaking’ in Yeshua’s Presence
  • Communion
  • Creative expression
  • Silence
  • Voluntary group interaction and activities

Refreshments are provided, but each participant is asked to supply their lunch, allowing for silent contemplation to continue, if preferred. I also provide the creative resources. However, a participant is welcome to bring their own creative project.

Registration includes a moderate fee towards the Workshop costs. Financial sponsorship is available and welcome.

I will also have my publications available for sale, by cash or internet banking.

The venue is provided by a host in a warm, quiet, restful environment with adequate grounds and parking; space for a reflective display, and a large table for participants’ creative expression. A hostess is usually available to provide and oversee the refreshments, participants’ comfort, and offer support as required.

At present, I facilitate the Refreshing Day workshop. However, I’m preparing a trainer’s manual to reproduce this dream in the future. I have facilitated a number of women’s workshops in the past 26 years including my latest in Hamilton, August 2023.

The topic for each Workshop comes from time spent in prayer during my several months of preparation. I trust Holy Spirit to hand-pick those who are needing to come, and am encouraged by the way He encounters each individual throughout the workshop, knowing the process will continue long after.

I’m open to facilitating this Workshop for a Christian leadership retreat day, having done a few in the past. It can be useful to have a ‘visiting’ facilitator so all the team can benefit from time alone with Yeshua. I would be open to using a topic provided by the team, if requested.
