Previous Weekend Workshops

‘HEART MATTERS,’ Titoki Christian Healing Centre, Whakatane.
13-15 February, 2026.

Due to demand, Joy and Barbara were invited to REPEAT this Weekend topic five months since their first REFRESHING WEEKEND, for a group of 11 women from Auckland to Wellington, to Bay of Plenty to Dannevirke.

Despite the weather bomb, Holy Spirit met with us in this special time aside to be refreshed. The short, facilitated reflections allowed ample time to contemplate alone, express creatively, wander the surrounds or receive prayer ministry. Although advertised as a voluntary silent ‘retreat’, a number of the participants valued the sharing of their journey around the meal table.

Thank you Holy Spirit for the deep work You will continue to do in our lives.

‘HEART MATTERS,’ Titoki Christian Healing Centre, Whakatane.
12-14 September, 2025.

Joy and Barbara were privileged to co-facilitate this, their first REFRESHING WEEKEND, a voluntary silent ‘retreat’ for a group of 11 women from Central North Island. This ‘retreat’ was nestled amongst a serene 10-acre block rural setting with accommodation and meals provided.

One participant, arriving in a ‘heavy’ state of mind, had a smile on her face as she departed two days later. ‘I surrendered it all,’ she confided. Thank you Holy Spirit for the deep work You will continue to do in our lives.

3. FINDING OUR IDENTITY THROUGH THE LIFE OF THE ONE BORN IN BETHLEHEM, December 2025.

A 1.5-hour online session for the same international Mission group with eight Participants from:
Philippines [in Thailand / other], New Zealand [in Mozambique and Cambodia], Netherlands [in Indonesia], South Africa, India and Germany.

Focus included our identity in Yeshua Messiah as the Eternal blood COVENANT representative of Yahweh in Heaven, Mankind on Earth; and as the Sacrificial Lamb. Wow!

2. A GARDEN ENCLOSED, September 2024.

A 1.5-hour online session encouraging intimacy with Yeshua our Bridegroom-King, taken from Song of Songs.
The nine single women, from the same Mission organisation, came from: Germany and New Zealand [in Mozambique], the Netherlands and America [in Indonesia], Philippines [in Thailand, Cambodia, China], India and South Africa.

What treasures has the Creator of the cosmos placed within our DNA waiting to be released creatively to the world?

TREASURES IN DARKNESS
Art-In-Mission seminar, March 2023.

A 2-hour online session for the same international Mission group with 14 Participants from:
Philippines [1 in Cambodia], New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Germany [in Mozambique], Singapore, Malaysia and Middle East.

This session included a reflection on gems Yahweh brings out of painful /dark seasons of our life, a study of Artisan Bezalel [Ex 31, 35], and a soaking time in Yahweh’s presence.

  • I felt the Holy Spirit 
    in a unique way

    Hi Barbara 
    The reflection time was a very a profound experience and I was able 
    to draw in my visual journey for most of  it. 
    [My husband] and I have been reflecting on how some things can 
    really reach deep into your heart and  bring 
    transformation in a way that talking and cognitive processes just 
    don’t. I’m learning a little about art  therapy and I  feel 
    like that workshop really did something that is hard to put into
